Go to Editorial ManagerThis work deals with treatment ofused lubricant oils whichare accumulate from automotive engine, bythermal conversion process. The used lubricant oil for two samples is fractionated by the atmospheric distillation device into fractions, (waste oil liquids and residue). Which are carried out at atmospheric pressure and temperature up to 350 ºC._x000D_ The conversion which was obtained from these fractions was (92 and95) % respectively for these two samples._x000D_ The fractionated waste oil liquids products fromatmospheric distillationdeviceare fractionated alsoto light fractions (gasoline, kerosene, gas oil) and residue for these two samples at atmospheric pressure according to their boiling point. These fractions for these two samples are also distillated inatmospheric distillation device, in order to calculatesome important physical and chemical properties (Mean average boiling point, specific gravity, flash point, aniline point, smoke point, molecular weight) of these fractions, to comparison with standardphysical and chemical properties, alsostudying the possibilities of industrial uses for these fractions._x000D_ The yield of gas oil for the first samplein waste lubricant oilisabout 50%, more than gasoline 15% and kerosene 30%from 100 ml of treatment waste lubricant oil, and more identical curve from gasoline and kerosene curve._x000D_ Also for the second sample, the yield of gas oil is the largest quantity 43%fromtheyield of gasoline 15% and yield of kerosene 35% from 200 ml of treatment waste lubricant oil, and more identical curve with kerosene from gasoline curve.
Square patch antennas (SPA) are widely used today's in wireless communication systems, mainly with popular frequency of 1.575 GHz. Wireless devices are the main source of propagation and radiation for the Electromagnetic (EM) rays. The waves penetrate tissues of the human beings and cause health danger. A fractal Sausage Minkowski square patch antenna is proposed, designed and simulated. A Fractal antenna is designed and simulated at 1.575 GHz for GPS application using CST MW studio 2014. Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is the term which measures the exposure of human to electromagnetic waves radiation for communication antenna. SAR values are calculated over tissues mass with respect to the IEEE and (ICNIRP) standards for head safety. The SPA antenna presents the smallest SAR levels in adult head tissues at 2nd iteration Sausage Minkowski fractal antenna. The results show that the SAR levels for the three different fractal iteration are the highest in (ICNIRP) standard as compared to (IEEE) standard.
The efficiency of adsorption using copper nanocomposite catalysts for the removal of lead ions from aqueous solution was studied. Nano copper and its nanocomposition were prepared in laboratory in very accurate conditions. After preparing samples, the samples were analyzed using XRD and SEM and that shows very good morphology of catalytic performance and has nano sized of crystalline shape. In order to study the efficiency of these catalysts, all samples were tested using adsorption process. The preparing samples show very good efficiency for lead removing from aqueous solution, and reach maximum removal efficiency 96% for 0.05g of adsorbents at pH 10, otherwise increasing or decreasing the pH would give undesirable results for all samples. Langmuir isotherm fitted better than Freundlich isotherm for adsorption of lead.
